lets create Terraform config to create two virtual machines in Azure

# first login to azure using the account you created.
az login --use-device-code
# this will give you a link and code to enter, open the link and paste code and login with your azure account 

# verify that az cli has access to your account with this command
az account show

# now we can create vms with terraform now.







without logging in to azure if you continue to work with terraform will get errors like this.


Copy this code in to a main tf file and then run terraform commands below

Use Terraform to create vms

# lets start a terraform project
# go to a folder that can store your terraform data 
terraform init

# lets apply our config to create 2 vms in azure
terraform apply

# this will ask for confirmation make sure to read all the configs and only then type yes.

# once the vms are created then connect with windows terminal with the ip in the output
# the username and password are from the above config only.


terraform apply





Connect with Windows Terminal
